 Tools Needed: Paper Clip- Straighten Out So One End Is   Exposed, Writing Paper, About 3 Inches Square, Small Piece, Fold Once.

Remote Control 

Batteries Replaced, Remote Still Does not Work Try This;

Removing Battery, Metal Contacts on Positive Side Of Remote, Take Paper Clip Exposed End

and Scratch Lightly back and Forth Over Metal Contacts, Then Do Same To Negative Side, 

Scratch Lightly Over Metal Contacts.  Also Can Scratch Individually Postive side Of Battery,

Then Negative Side, So Contacts Shine.  

Place Batteriies Back In, In Correct Direction, Place Cover Back On, and In Most Cases Remote

Will Work Once Again.

Acer Aspire 3630 Laptop

Disconnect Ac Adapter From Laptop, Turn Computer Over, Rear of Computer Bottom, Push Slider

Locks With Thumb To Open, Press Battery Away From Computer, When Sliders Pressed 

Correctly, Battery Will Push Out.

Computer Side, See Brass Contacts, Using Paper Clip Exposed End, Scratch Back and Forth

Lightly Between Brass Contacts, On Both Sides On Each Contact.  Blow Clean Remove All Dirt.

Battery Side, See Comb Like Fixture On Battery, Pass Writing Paper At Fold Side, Thru Comb

Fixture, Using a Different Part Of The Paper Through Completion, Blow Clean To Remove All

Loose Dirt.

Take Battery, Slide Into Slot On Bottom, Lock Slider, Reconnect Ac Adapter, Light Should Now Be

On. Computer Should Work

Laptop Computer Not Getting Power.

How to Check Ac Adapter, Either Purchase, or Borrow 12 Volt Circuit Tester With a Light.

And To make Sure This Works, Ground Alegator Clip, Place Tester on Positive Side Of 

12 Volt Battery, Light Should Light Up Brite.

Remove Adapter From Computer, Hold Adapter, (small metal pipe) Facing You With Hole,  Using

Paper Clip Straight End, Place Down In Hole, Take Alegator Clip, Place On Outside Of Small

Metal Pipe, Take Tester Side With Point On It, Place On Paper Clip, Which You Are Holding 

Down Into Hole All The Way Down.  IF LIGHT COMES ON AC ADAPTER WORKS.  If Light Does

Not Come On Ac Adapter Needs Replacement.

Summer Furniture Swells, Moist Air Is The Problem.  Heat During Winter Contacts Furniture.  

Best To Not Close Draws Or Doors Competely, On The Furniture That Swells.  A Dry Area Is

The Only Solution That Works Well.

Tools Needed For Repair To Remove Dent or Gouge, Butter Knife, Candle in Holder, Lighter, Small

Flat Dish. 0000 Steel Wool,

Place All Tools on a Table and Bring Project Next To Tools.

Place Flat End Of Butter Knife Over Touching Tip Of Flame, When Smoke Is Seen On Knife (Which Should Still Be Hot) Touching Damaged Wood Area.  Reheat Performing Same Process Which May Need To Be Done A Few Times. Keep Knife in Dish.  The Heat Lifts The Wood Back To Normal.Be Done A Few Times. Keep Knife in Dish. The Heat Lifts The Wood Back To Normal.

Color Wood Markers For Touch Up Can be Purchased At Lumber, Hardware, and Department Stores.
